John has a long history in the entertainment field in Australia and overseas and is an accomplished entertainer in his own right.
He has appeared on national televisions shows such as Bandstand, Saturday Date, Sing Sing Sing (The Johnny O’Keefe Show), British Rock N Roll Show “Thank Your Lucky Stars” and also won NBN Newcastle Star Quest and was the original lead singer with the Aztecs.
John has won several music awards and worked with international stars including the Bee Gees, Johnny O’Keefe, Gene Pitney, Johnnie Ray, Bobby Rydell, Marcia Hines and Rita Coolidge. He has performed on Norfolk Island’s “Rhythm on the Rock” and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Festival “Rock Around the Rock”, with stars such as Col Joye, Judy Stone Lucky Star and Little Patty.
John was resident vocalist compare at Western Suburbs Leagues Club. He was also band vocalist and compare at Newcastle Workers Club (Panthers), working with local and international artists.
John’s show consists of music from the 50’s, 60’s, Country, Ballads and beyond. Music which appeals to all ages with songs from Bill Haley & the Comets, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Neil Diamond, Cliff Richard, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Dion & the Belmonts, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, The Beach Boys, Allan Jackson, Don Williams. He really enjoys himself on stage, which reflects on the audience. He also has created a following of “Groupies” who love to dance.
John is an enjoyable musical adventure.
